On the students placement and international training front, the PROTON business school took a leap forwardon Oct 13th, 2008. The institute joined hands with AIESEC, a global organization which aims to create an international platform for young people. The organization strives to discover and develop potential of young people, which eventually creates a positive impact on society.

Protons were keen to know about AIESEC as their institute was about to start an exciting journey with them. To facilitate this process, the Dean Prof. Kapil Dev Upadhya arranged a special session where students directly got a detailed orientation from the working team of AIESEC, which included Mr. Piyush Trivedi- Secretary of Indore Chapter, Mr. Nirupam Chaturvedi & Mr. Aayush Trivedi.

The session covered details beginning from the history to AIESEC's current working. The team discussed all the details about the same. AIESEC was started back in 1948, just after the Second World War, as an organization to restore peace & promote friendly relation amongst European countries through cultural exchange and activities. AIESEC entered India in 1981, with Mr. Ratan Tata & Mr. Adi Godrej being first National Board of Advisors. Now it has expanded its working in around 100 countries, over 1100 universities, which all together have 23000 voluntary members & now it is the world’s largest student run organization.

Following are the four pillars as the base of their working
1. Leadership & Entrepreneurship skills
2. Socially responsible
3. Culturally sensitive
4. Network of people globally

These four pillars help them to attain their aim of providing global exposure to students.

One of the greatest advantages of the PROTON - AIESEC tieup is that the students will get a platform which will provide an integrated development experience which comprise of leadership opportunities, international traineeships and participation in global learning environment. The process will include both ‘incoming side organization’ & ‘outside side students/professionals’. This process will led Proton and AIESEC to have mutual benefits.

Finally, the institute formally signed an MoU with AIESEC and the session was concluded with students' feedback & a vote of thanks.
