The king of The Economist - Fall 2008-PGP1-Trimester1

Truly, a nail-biting finish! Yes, I am referring to the grand finale of the Weekly Toppers' Panel Discussion that took place today at PROTON business school Indore.

Every week, Protons study the issue of The Economist, and appear for the Quiz after a rigorous discussion session. All weekly toppers for the first trimester then came together, to enable selection of ONE king among them all.

The competition started with a panel discussion, where the moderator asked 8 different questions ranging from 'future role of the European nations in world affairs' to 'your 3 pertinent pieces of advice to present US policymakers', and from 'Consumerism and its effects' to 'how science and technology should be guided'.

The two finalists who emerged based on scoring and voting were Proton Bharat Jhalani, and Proton Jagrat Sanadhya.

A nail-biting tiebreaker round of 3 questions decided the winner, when a sharp and quick Bharat shouted "World Bank" to the question "What do we know the IBRD popularly as?"

Truly, the king!

He wins one full day with Sandeep Manudhane, in the office, working with him, all meals included!

Proton - It's time for positive change!

The Rules are explained.
