About Placements Committee
The PROTON Placements Committee (PlaceComm) is a democratically elected team of enthusiastic self driven Protons. The PlaceComm is the institute’s formal student body authorized for interfacing with the corporate world for organizing the campus placement process which includes the summer internship, winter internship and final placement for the Protons. The PlaceComm serves to create awareness about the institute in the industry, appraising it of what PROTON has to offer in terms of its strengths in institutional processes, academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The PlaceComm provides placement assistance to Protons by creating a platform where the potential recruiters and Protons can interact for starting long lasting relationships. It also helps the Protons develop their skills in-line with the growing and changing needs of the corporate world through proactive and continuous initiatives in information sharing and campus activities.
The way PlaceComm operates on campus is a simulation of the real-life working conditions for a management professional, thereby helping the Protons to comprehend the requirements and expectations of the professional world outside, and build the ability to work effectively in teams.
The commitment of the PlaceComm reflects in its mission statement -
| ‘To create maximum value opportunity for each recruiter through transparency and process driven culture’ |
