To have special sight on this particular topic PROTON business school conducted a special session on “Business Risks- The Enemy Within.” For having exposure of real corporate world on the same we had Mr. Ajay Trehan (CEO, AuthBridge Research Services Pvt. Ltd.) to share his insights from vast industry experience.

Their may be few employees who do fraud within the enterprise in many ways, like submitting fake CVs, hiding past records, attempting thefts, getting involved in illegal activities through the company’s identity etc… According to a survey, he said, out of all the frauds with an organization 42% are done by its employees including top management.

He discussed various authentic cases which proved it essential for the organization to scrutinize employee background. One of the cases dealt with an IT company which on conducting the screening, found that 40% of its employees had fake educational qualification degrees.

Further, speaker threw light on the Return On Investment (ROI) concept. According to him, companies avoid such screening due to the fact that they consider it as an expense which has no return on investment. But on the other hand, the fact is that if they go for such screening they could actually save lot of money which they loose due to the fraudulent activities of the employees.

The session being very informative provided unassailable enlightening experience for all Protons. At last, the session was winded up with answering of various questions and queries of Protons.
