The PROTON student life is a strong mix of focus, hard work, relentless drive, and a desire to grow beyond limits. All this is a mirror image of our soft dna - the spirit of excellence!
For a student, the first visit to any PROTON premises will most likely lead to astonishment, at the beauty of it all. The user-friendly flow, the air, the natural light, the ambience, the high-quality materials used .. they all inspire wonder.
Slowly, as the discovery unfolds through our structured "Anveshan" programme, visitors find that areas are named thoughtfully. There is a whole culture that is being built, a whole philosophy of excellence that is being communicated. Some examples being - i) The Chaupaals - Chhatrapati Shivaji and Sardar Patel, ii) The Theatres - Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Bose, iii) The Auditorium - Swami Vivekanand, iv) The Study Halls - Drucker, Walton, Ford, Tufte.. , v) The Library - Neuron, vi) The Canteen - Protein.
This CULTURE is what defines PROTON. The unique elements that students experience on a day-to-day basis add slowly but surely to a student's sense of esteem and confidence.
Each student is exposed to the following during her/his stay at PROTON (for the PGP) - i) minimum 500+ hours of global vision sessions by the Chief Mentor himself, ii) amazing sessions with the Top Team of IIM-Harvard-XLRI graduates, iii) minimum 700 kms of walking exercises, iv) rigorous classroom sessions (at least 6 hours each day), v) tonnes of committee work that stretches opportunities, vi) at least 50 movie shows with analysis and review, vii) tonnes of reading other than courseware, viii) ambitious and supportive peer group, ix) at least 10 big cultural events, x) 40+ courses done exhaustively, xi) at least 20 Global MDPs ... and so on.
Frankly, the delta that gets added at PROTON is quite difficult for anyone to replicate. It's a system that's totally centred on the student. The Proton. |
