This website is designed to help you understand the philosophy of PROTON. You are advised to go through all pages carefully and judge for yourself the suitability of our courses and programmes, as per your needs. If you wish to apply for admissions to PROTON, you must read and understand the following Double Programme with Dual Specialisations, Programme Eligibility, Placements Assistance Eligibility and Terms and Conditions which define the basic relationship between the institution and the student. PROTON follows a clearly defined Code of Conduct and expects students to maintain high standards of leadership, initiative and discipline.

Double Programme with Dual Specialisations: PROTON’s PGP (Fulltime) + MBA (dlp)*
Our flagship programme is the PGP (Fulltime), divided into two independent sub programmes - PGP-1 and PGP-2 each of 11 months’ duration. The two sub programmes separately cover important aspects of Excellence and Leadership from an Indian and global perspective. They aim at making students - the Protons - conversant with the principles, practices and implementation of these ideas in the modern world. For Fall 2010 intake, we offer all six - Marketing and Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Entrepreneurship, IT & Systems and Operations specialisations.

* On successful completion of and on clearing all requisite internal and university exams, candidates will be awarded MBA degree (2 years, DLP mode) from a UGC/AICTE/DEC recognised university.

Double Programme Eligibility**

  • Students seeking admission to Fall 2010 intake should have completed Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree Examination, on or before Sept 2010, of any education body in Commerce,
    Management, Arts, Sciences, Engineering, Technology or equivalent, recognised by AICTE / UGC / AIU
  • Professional degree holders like CAs, CSs etc can apply for Fall 2010 intake
  • Students currently in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for Fall 2010 intake, subject to their producing their graduation marksheets / degrees by Sept 2010

** students with less than 50% marks in graduation/12th std/10th std can apply but their selection/admission to PROTON's Double Programme with Dual Specialisations will be subject to their accepting certain policy decisions

Placements Assistance Eligibility
Student must understand that companies coming to PROTON campus or accepting Protons for on-site interviews will put certain minimum eligibility criteria (viz. min percentage, educational background etc). Hence you may or may not be eligible to apply to many, some or any companies. Also you need to permit Placements Committee (PlaceComm), PROTON HQ to assist you in choosing suitable companies (if eligible) based on the information provided by you in the Application Form submitted by you and based on the Placements Code of Conduct.

  1. Complete details regarding the structure of postgraduate programmes in Excellence and Leadership etc. or otherwise have been provided. Students should decide to apply for admissions only after they are convinced that our programmes meet their career goals.
  2. While all care has been taken in compiling the data and facts in the PROTON Brochure and/or PROTON Application Form, PROTON will not be responsible for any inadvertent errors.
  3. Terms and conditions governing payment of fees have clearly been mentioned. After admission, the fees paid by the student are not refundable in part or in full. This applies to withdrawals as well as dismissals, voluntary or otherwise, from the institute’s rolls. Please visit www.Proton.in/admissions.aspx for more details.
  4. The process of admission, deadlines, fees payments, final offers etc are also given on the above link. Please go through the same carefully and plan your application and fee payment accordingly. PROTON does not assume any responsibility for Internet related problems like poor access speed, downtime etc.
  5. Your candidature can be considered only after you have filled this Application Form completely and submitted it to the proper authority at Central Admissions Cell, PROTON HQ.
  6. All information given by you to PROTON business school and its affiliates must be true and authentic. Admissions gained on the basis of wrong information and improper disclosures at any stage of the admissions process will be treated ipso-facto null and void. This will also affect granting of any degrees or awards, for which only the student will be responsible.
  7. The number of seats per specialisation, and internal structuring of various programmes and specialisations will be at the sole discretion of the management.
  8. The fee structure and payment schedule is given through www.Proton.in/admissions.aspx Kindly refer the same and adhere to it. This page is updated from time to time.
  9. PROTON and its affiliates reserve the rights to offer new programmes at any point of time or change the structure of existing programmes or stop further admissions in any of the
    programmes. The various facilities provided are subject to terms and conditions.
  10. While assistance will be provided in trying to secure placements for students, no guarantee or assurance whatsoever, of any kind, is provided by PROTON to any student. Student understands, that it will entirely depend on his / her personal placeability & performance. Students will be liable for any unexpected travel and accommodation costs during off-Campus (on-site) placement, internships and other events, if needed. The institution reserves the right to charge extra for any such contingencies.
  11. All applicants and their parents are advised to carefully read the PROTON CAMPUS SALARY CALCULATOR (PCSC) given on www.Proton.in/PCSC.htm. The final packages which students can earn through campus placements are totally dependent on market conditions & students’ caliber & performance.
  12. Every student is required to compulsorily sign a PROTON’s Code of Conduct document which outlines at length the discipline and conduct policy of the institution which the students and parents are bound to follow. Failure to do the same may result in appropriate action.
  13. For the upcoming intake at the Ahmedabad & Indore Campuses, few merit scholarships are available to cover partial tuition fees. These are solely at management’s discretion.
  14. The institution does not accept the responsibility or liability for any damage / injury incurred by a student or to his / her property whether in connection with his / her studies or not.
  15. The Brochure and the Application Form refer to PROTON’s Ahmedabad & Indore Campuses. Any other campus which may come in the future will be advertised and informed separately. Only the latest information as in these documents may be treated authentic.

  17. Imp. Disclaimer : PROTON’s Full Time PGP in Excellence and Leadership is a certificate course made of two independent 11 month modules. It is a non-professional, non- technical programme, designed for personal transformation and grooming. We offer a UGC approved university’s MBA degree course through distance-study mode in parallel.
