WHY PROTON - Philosophy & Defining features
The name "PROTON" was adopted to permanently reflect our total commitment to the most important aspect of our students' learning - a positive experience.
PROTON is all about the "Positive Experience"
PROTON invests in creating positive energy, positive thoughts, positive human values, positive behaviour and an attitude that seeks out opportunities amidst challenges. We do not just say this for the sake of it - we practise it daily.
PROTON's deep commitment
- PROTON is owned, managed and run by career educationists (and not businessmen, industrialists, merchants, brokers, or politicians)
- We are possibly the only B School in India with an Honour Code
- We have an honest admissions process with zero donations policy
- We have a zero harassment, zero ragging environment
- We have a "no-sir, no-madam culture" between junior and senior batches
- We have a disciplined culture
PROTON DOES NOT TAKE ANY FINANCIAL DONATIONS IN ITS ADMISSIONS PROCESS FOR ANY OF ITS CAMPUSES.*
PROTON is your dream destination if you cherish these values.
The PROTON philosophy
We recognize your immediate dreams, hopes and anxieties.
- Will I be able to make a name for myself?
- How do I fathom the complex world?
- How do I leapfrog ahead in this economy?
- When will I start earning big?
Our programmes will offer you solid solutions to these questions you may be struggling with. They will help you develop into that dream personality that you have always strived for. And this happens not by overnight magic, but through sheer dedicated smart work, over the entire course duration.
Our answers to the above four questions are the defining features of PROTON programmes.
Defining features
- Strength of character
- Broad intellectual understanding
- A lifelong network of contacts
- A great starting job
* Truth be told, almost every B School worth its salt makes claims about how "values" are central to their existence. But truly, how many practise it? It makes a sad picture when we look around and discover the practices being followed at many so-called reputed B Schools in India - formal channels of back-door entry and huge donations are the norm. Even small town institutions play the dirty game of showcasing "limited seats" and then activating their channels of brokers to force parents to shell out huge sums in the garb of getting admissions for their wards. Needless to say, these "donations" which are almost always in cash, are shared between the admission agents / brokers, and the B School managements.
