“Young leaders – Be the change that you want to see” - Mr. Rajneesh Singh, Network 18

The impact of current global meltdown has begun to somehow impact the Indian economy. It depends a lot on young leaders to upgrade strategies in corporate India accordingly. But, it is very important to first accept the change within, before 'implementing it on' others. In simpler words, “Change is a phenomenon pertaining to each individual.. if youth thinks about bringing a change in society they must also have the strength to bring that change first within themselves.”

PROTON business school conducted an Expert Session for detailed learning on the subject. The guest for the same was Mr. Rajneesh Singh, Group HR head, Network-18 Media & Investment Ltd.

The session began with the analysis of Indian sector as it is very important to work according to the present state and direction of our economy.  It revealed many opportunities, threats, and the so-called 'pros & cons' of Corporate India.

An in-depth talk on numerous sectors followed. The Expert Speaker provided various perspectives on numerous sectors, viz. FMCG, Telecom, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Media, Consulting & Training etc. Prospects within each sector were detailed with the origin and future prospects. The discussion proved to be very helpful for students, to choose their specialization and have a glimpse of the sector they want to join soon.

Later, the session continued with conversation on a range of available survival packages. Following were the key learnings for future managers to adopt in changing society and environment-

  • Must have the right habits, and develop rapid self-adoptability
  • Must know about various quotients:
